Inclusive India by Gopinath Muthukad Receives Warm Welcome in Jammu
Jammu/Gandhi Nagar: Gopinath Muthukad’s groundbreaking Inclusive India tour is making waves across the country, with its recent stop in Jammu garnering immense appreciation. Organized in collaboration with the Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation, & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC), a special awareness program was held at SMGS Hospital.
The event saw a packed audience of doctors, professors, researchers, and prominent figures from the disability empowerment sector. Using his signature blend of magic and storytelling, Muthukad captivated the audience by addressing societal responsibilities toward persons with disabilities.
Leadership and Support
The event was inaugurated by Jammu Commissioner Secretary Sheetal Nanda and CRC Director Dr. Rohnika Sharma, who jointly lit the ceremonial lamp. Ms. Nanda praised Muthukad’s innovative approach, emphasizing the impact of his message in transforming societal perspectives. She also appreciated his commitment to spreading this awareness across India through his road journey.
The Journey of Gopinath Muthukad’s Inclusive India
The Inclusive India tour began on September 22, flagged off by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Over 40 awareness programs have already been conducted across states, including Lakshadweep and northeastern India. The tour will culminate in a grand finale at Delhi’s Dr. Ambedkar Convention Centre on December 3, coinciding with International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
After four earlier Bharat Yatras promoting Gandhian values and unity, this tour marks Muthukad’s return to nationwide campaigning after 14 years. The Inclusive India journey stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to social transformation.
